Uncanny X-Men #1 – Disassembled Part 1 – Comic Load 11/14/2018

It’s comic book day! A couple great issues came out this week but my particular favorite was Uncanny X-Men #620 or as it is being re-numbered – #1…because Marvel loves their #1’s. The Age of Apocalypse is being revisited to an extent with certain characters that crossed over from the previous alternate universe. There is also a mutant vaccine that is going to be a huge catalyst for the upcoming storyline. So many new unanswered questions and this looks to be a great plot...

Daddy Nightcrawler is looking hot with his beard…anyways, Cassandra Nova is attempting to start a new war in X-Men Red #8. Superman and Lois reconcile over in Action Comics #1004. Terry McGinnis revels in his new partnership while flashbacking to Bruce’s heyday in the cowl in Batman Beyond #25. A lot of nothing happens in X-Men Black Juggernaut. Amazing Spider-Man #8 shows the ramifications of the Thieves Guild amping up their work in the Marvel Universe as a whole...

Iceman #2 – Emma Frost and Bobby Team Up – Marvel Comic Book Review (SPOILERS)

Emma Frost once took over Iceman’s body and show him a glimpse of the true potential that Bobby Drake possessed within his Omega level mutant status. This issue has Iceman teaming up with Frost on a personal endeavor for a situation involving her openly gay brother, Christian Frost. This issue is small in scale but still quite relevant in today’s society with mentioning of Christian being tortured when going through gay conversion therapy...

Batman’s BatDicks Get Notoriety this Week (Both of his Dicks) – Comic Load 9/19/2018

It is comic book day! Not only do we get to see a shadowy outline of Bruce Wayne’s dick in Batman: Damned #1, which apparently has some people upset, but we also get to see Bruce’s OTHER Dick (Grayson) get shot in Batman #55. Batman’s dick is barely noticeable in the shadows, but it is enough to get many geeks, gay and straight a like talking about it. Awesome week to be a geek but bad news for Nightwing fans. To see the BatDick in all it’s glory (for what you can see), see the images below...
