Oh yeah, the gay Zombie Apocalypse comic book is out! This is issue number 2 of the Class Comics title that follows two gay men and their adventures of surviving a zombie outbreak. Written by Patrick Fraiser and drawn by Butch McLogic.
Here is the first zombie apocalyptic comic book series from Class Comics. We have two protagonists, one a closeted recluse and another that’s a gay jock. Can they bond and survive together? This first issue is written by Robert Frasier and drawn by Butch Mclogic.
Here is the second issue review on Class Comics’ own aquatic superhero. Last time he was about to be eaten by a giant megalodon. Now he’s trapped with the thoughts that his best friend in the whole world may be dead because of him.
This first issue to Oni Press’s gay version of Robin Hood and his Merry Men has hit the stands. It is a different concept on Robin Hood that I had never considered in the past. It is unique and a great first issue. The story of a gay band of outlaws fighting against the tyrannical forces of Prince John does allude to a lot of similar fights that the gay community has fought in the past. So this does have a lot of basis with reality.
This is the last of the Midnighter comic books in the foreseeable future from DC Comics. So sad, especially since there are very few LGBT characters that are headlining their own series. This comic has a satisfying conclusion but it is still sad to see it go. Hopefully his character will not be in limbo forever and he can join a new Stormwatch team or maybe be a Bat-Person family member. Anything is possible.
The Young Protectors: Engaging the Enemy Chapter 1. This is a great LGBT comic book that was written by Alex Woolfson. The story involves the young superhero Red Hot coming to terms with his sexuality and falling for the superhero, the Annihilator.
Class Comics presents this issue of Deimos that spot lights our favorite demonic entity turned good in 3 different stories. Each story is written by Patrick Fillion and illustrated by two other artists.
The stories include:
Dead of Winter 2 – Illustrated by Patrick Fillion
Innocence – Illustrated by Alessio Slonimsky
Inspiration – Illustrated by David Cantero
New from ClassComics.com is the title – Alex in Bonerland. This is the tale of Alice, but instead has a male, Alex, going through a huge sexual romp. It’s pretty fucking awesome! Check out my thoughts on the comic book in the video below.
Do not watch this trailer if you do not want to know the story, as this trailer gives away a lot of information. I still want to see it regardless of me knowing major story elements. It has my boy Chris Pratt. I have no choice but to see it. What do you think?
Treasure Hunter Jox is back in the 5th issue of writer/artist Tom Cray’s Class Comic series. He recently was released by his kinda/sorta lover Ganymede and now is being chased after by Reiwulf. However, there may be some other beings that are also mixed in the fray. Check out my thoughts on this comic book in the attached video. Check out this comic book at: ClassComics.Com
Ok I’ll play #CosplayVsCosplayer - it’s suppose to be 8 costumes with the center being yourself. I couldn’t just pick 8. I added three more, and put my ‘regular’ pic at the beginning. I wanted to add even more than that. #GayComicGeek #gaygeek #gaycosplay www.patreon.com/GayComicGeek
He-Man and the Masters of the Universe are going to be fighting up against or teaming up in some instances, with the the DC Injustice Universe. I do not know if this is a good or bad thing, but I will take anything with He-Man at this point. The Masters of the Universe…Universe…has been in limbo for a bit and should have an ongoing comic book series. For reasons, they just have been shelved.
Tim Seeley will be the writer for this series. He will be teaming up with artist Freddie E. Williams II, who I am a huge fan of myself. He drew my boy Tim Drake in his Robin series for a bit and did a fantastic job. He also was the artist for the He-Man/Thundercats crossover mini series.
The synopsis for the 6 issue mini series reads: Believing He-Man and the Masters of the Universe defeated, a robotic impostor (FAKER?!) has seized control of Eternia—but not for long! After freeing his kingdom from this strongman’s rule, He-Man learns not everyone is pleased to see the pretender deposed—but Adam knows the value of freedom. When heroes from another dimension ask his aid in deposing a superhero turned dictator, he agrees. Teaming up with Batman against the Superman of the Injustice Universe, He-Man and his new allies face dangerous and familiar enemies in a battle where no world is safe!
He-Man and the Masters of the Universe has had several comic book series. They even had a comic book series with DC Comics existing in their universe had a crossover taking place on Earth. This series had a great ending, but left readers wanting more. Particularly from He-Man’s twin sister, She-Ra. There have been reports of a new movie to be made, which this itself has been in limbo for over 30 years. There was a great crossover with Thundercats, that made 80’s kids rejoice. The toyline Super7 has kept the figures going, but not a lot more for He-Man and the Masters of the Universe has never been revealed. With Injustice, which is a much darker DC universe, we may see some very twisted and re-imagining of characters that most Masters of the Universe fans are not used to seeing.
Have you met Kevin aka KamCosplay? I have only met him once myself at NYCC, but his Robin costume made me weak in the knees. After stalking exploring some of his other works, I saw that he is stupendous cosplayer with all of his work. Also side note, he has been happily married to his husband Derek for 5 years and will be celebrating their 6th anniversary come July. I have collected a couple of Kevin’s costume pictures to show off his skill.
I feel bad. This costume was given to me from someone who could not wear it themselves, and I have yet to wear to a convention. I need to find a reason. #gaygeek #gaycosplay #GayComicGeek www.patreon.com/GayComicGeek
Have you seen the Art of Ake? This guy does beautiful work. He recently drew a picture of my GayComicGeek character. It’s marvelous! I collected a couple of his public pieces to post and I unquestionably adore his work. He is working on individual comics. One of which is a short strip that he started to work on years ago called Navel. I am excited to see it’s completion. The cover is listed below. From what I have seen, it is hot and super smoking sexy!
Unless you are new to my site and social media, you should know that Robin is my favorite superhero of all time. I have cosplayed as Tim Drake, Dick Grayson and Jason Todd at different points in my life. Never Damian, because fuck Damian. However I have a special place in my heart for Robin for many reasons, so I continually post pictures both real and comic book related that pertain the Boy Wonder. Here’s a few pics of my boy in cosplay form from different cosplayers that I have encountered. Some are just pics that have been sent to me, but I appreciate all of their efforts. Enjoy!
