My boy and favorite superhero of all time, Tim Drake aka Red Robin, is back! He’s been locked up by Mr. Oz for reasons unknown, but not for long. He’s breaking out and teaming up with some other inmates. MAJOR SPOILERS in this review.

Some people hated the premiere of Star Trek: Discovery and some loved it. I was entertained myself and I will tune in to the series. I did have lots of problems, however there were not enough negatives for me to skip past the series altogether. I will tune into it! I admit I am not the biggest of Trekkies or Trekkers, so I did not read a lot more than just a basic plot of the series before watching the first two episodes. So I did not know what to be expecting. Maybe this is one of the reasons that I was not as disappointed as others. Also, I can except the changes in history and canon and the look of the Klingons. Which I know that’s blasphemy for some out there.

The only spoiler I will give is that I was anxiously waiting to see Anthony Rapp’s character of Lt. Paul Stamlets and Wilson Cruz as Medical Officer Hugh Culber. Since they did not appear, I was disappointed. I am a bit biased on wanting to like their characters as I was hoping to see these two openly gay actors playing two gay characters in a sci-fi show that has had mostly only heterosexual relationships. So not seeing any hint of either of them, was a downer for me. However I can wait. I will be patient and I do want to see the series based on many other factors besides just this. Although this is just my opinion though. What do you think? Did you like it?

I do a post like this every now and then when I’m curious to see other guy’s underwear. Many guys have some geeky underwear here and there but also many do not. It all depends on the person. I have a couple pair myself, but I know some guys that have nothing but superhero inspired undies. Do you own any? At the end of this post, you can submit your own.

I took some private Patreon pics with three different sexy buddies of mine over at DragonCon 2017. Some are good, some are meh, others are darn right awesome! So of course I’m posting the good dudeoir pics on my Patreon site. I seem to get all of them into GayComicGeek costumes at some point. Because why not?

Russell Tovey is going to play gay superhero, the Ray! I’m trying not to geekgasm…or is it just regular orgasm in this case? Just reported by Comic Book Resources, the Ray will be played by Midshipman Alonso Frame, aka Jason from the movie the Pass, and also known as openly gay actor Russell Tovey. I am so excited over this!!! Did I mention that Tovey is one of my biggest, most undeniable crushes on the planet?

Russell Tovey will also voice the Ray in the animated series set to stream on the CW Seed. There is not a lot of info on the appearance in the Arrowverse yet, except that it will be a 4 part cross over with the Ray’s Earth, which is Earth X. It will also be taking place over two nights, starting with Monday, Nov. 27, with Supergirl and Arrow and then Tuesday, Nov. 28, with The Flash and Legends of Tomorrow.

Have I mentioned that Tovey never seems to care about showing his ass on camera. A lot. He can’t possibly make me like him any more. I am very happy. What do you think?

YES! I have been wanting this since I first discovered there were scenes cut from the 1978 Superman movie. Some scenes have been put back in for some releases, but never all of the deleted scenes. Over at Warner Brothers Archive, it has been announced that the Superman: The Movie will be getting the extended cut treatment. Their description reads:

SUPERMAN: THE MOVIE – EXTENDED CUT & SPECIAL EDITION 2-FILM COLLECTION (1978,2000)
Run Time 188 Minutes-EXTENDED CUT (NEW 2017 1080p HD MASTER)
151 Minutes-SPECIAL EDITION
Subtitles Spanish, French, English SDH
DTS HD-Master Audio 2.0 – English (EXTENDED CUT)
DTS HD-Master Audio 5.1 – English, DOLBY DIGITAL SURROUND 5.1 – French, DOLBY DIGITAL SURROUND 5.1 – Spanish
ORIGINAL ASPECT RATIO – 2.40:1, 16 X 9 LETTERBOX
COLOR
2-BD 50
Special Features (on Superman The Special Edition Disc): Commentary by Director Richard Donner and Creative Consultant Tom Mankiewicz; 3 Documentaries Taking Flight: The Development of Superman, Making Superman: Filming the Legend and The Magic Behind the Cape; Screen Tests; Restored Scenes; Additional Scenes; Additional Music Cues; Music-Only Track

Decades before blockbuster Extended Cuts were common, Superman proved a true “Man of Tomorrow.” Superman: The Movie received an ahead-of-its-time makeover for its television premiere – nearly 40 more minutes of story, creating a two-night television event. Audiences had already been swept off their feet by Christopher Reeve’s Last Son of Krypton, and now there was more to enjoy. Unseen in decades, this version is paired here with Richard Donner’s definitive vision of his film, the Special Edition Director’s Cut (2000), to create a supersized celebration of Metropolis’ favorite son that preserves the director’s intent while feeding superfan demands.

I had no idea that a 3 hour cut of the Superman movie even existed until a few years ago. Surprisingly my father told me that he watched Superman on February 1982, during the ABC broadcast of the movie and said that the movie included scenes that he never saw again afterwards. I honestly thought he made it up until I joined comic book forums years later who all collaborated this experience. My dad was a closeted geek, but I think if he was alive, he’d be pretty darn giddy to learn that this was finally being done.

Whoa! Have you seen the sexy Disney Dwarfs re-imagined into muscle daddies by the artist Silverjow? It may be that we have similar ears, but I have a thing for Dopey. So seeing his rendition of Dopey being so damn awesome, it totally sold me!

I have not seen many fan made films done to this quality. This was made by French director and writer Michael Paris. Holy hell, I want to see the version of this. It is approximately 8 mins long and was such a great watch.

A film by Michael Paris.
with Johanna Genet, Tom Maurice, Gregory Paris & J3.0 (voice)
music by James BKS Edjouma
