Daredevil or Flash- Which was the Best Superhero TV show of the season?

With most of the season finales hitting us, a lot of superhero series have already ended. I enjoyed most of these sagas and I can’t wait for Fall to see the continuation of the series that were renewed. What did you think of the superhero shows that we got this past year? A lot of people compare Flash and Daredevil as being the top 2. Is that accurate or did I forget a show?

  1. I think Agent Carter is so much better than Agents of SHIELD. I’m thrilled that it’s getting a second mini-season. I’m still watching Daredevil and it’s great so far. I think Flash was the best this year and I can’t wait for Legends of Tomorrow. Seriously, I want to see it now :).

  2. I thought Flash was the best show though i haven’t seen Daredevil yet. I’ll wait until it comes out on dvd. The series you didn’t mention is iZombie which is based on a Vertigo title that only ran for 28 issues or so but was a lot of fun. The television series does not follow the comic book too much but also is a lot of fun.

    1. Oh cool, you know I didn’t know IZombie was a comic book. The previews didn’t appeal to me so I just passed it up. Thanks for letting me know. Is it worth watching? I can definitely download the eps.

      1. Oh yes. The series show runner is Rob Thomas, who created “Veronica Mars” so the dialogue is smart and funny. I would give the series a solid three out of four stars. I will be picking up the dvd when it comes out. Also, the CW has already renewed iZombie for a second season so we don’t have to worry about the series ending on a cliff-hanger after only one season.

      2. Off the subject but have you been catching “Cucumber” and “Banana” on LOGO? These are two shows created by Russell T Davis who created the British version of “Queer as Folk” and served as show-runner for “Doctor Who” when it came back. Both “Cucumber” and “Banana” are worth seeing. They have a lot of gay characters. A problem is that the main character in “Cucumber” is not that likable at first. But the show gets better as it goes along. “banana” is much more likable.
