Lady Gaga Performance at the Super Bowl…Simpsons Did It! Well Not Really, but Close!

I’m a huge Simpsons fan. Before the Super Bowl even started, I was immediately thinking of Gaga’s appearance in the Simpsons season 23 episode- Lisa Goes Gaga. Then of course I see that everyone else also already figured this out too. I am late to the game on that again. Did you see the performance at the 2017 Super Bowl? I personally thought that Gaga’s performance was great and inspirational.

Also, although some think that Gaga was neutral in her political stance during this show, but I do not think this is true. Besides starting with the song This land is your Land, which you should Google the full version if you do not know it, Gaga also had Born this Way. Nice little reference to showing that we are all equal regardless of gender or orientation. Despite what others may say.

I completely forgot about the Simpsons episode. Bad, Mike, Bad! I watched this last night and her performance was incredible. It’s one of the best halftime performances I’ve seen in years. Definitely better than last year. I loved that it was political but not overt. Plus I don’t think I would have had the balls to jump off the stadium roof, even if I was wired up.
