Robin II – The Joker’s Wild – DC Comic Book Mini Series Review (SPOILERS) – Tim Drake Series

Tim Drake is the bestest of the Robins in my opinion. The Joker’s Wild storyline is his first adventure in Gotham City while taking on the Joker without Batman. The story was originally published back in 1991 and helps establishes Tim’s supporting cast and also shows that he still has a far road ahead to being as strong of a superhero that he aspires to become.

  1. I skipped this mini-series. I figured that Robin would beat the Joker. Plus I was a college student and money was tight. The 90s were a funky time with all of those ridiculous embossed or holographic covers. The speculator boom was high so people would buy a comic that had a “special” looking cover. They thought it would be worth more later. Plus comic companies could hike up the price with these covers. I almost quit comics during this period. Great review and I can’t wait for your review on Robin III: Cry of the Huntress.
