Many of you know that I’m a huge Tim Drake fan. In fact he is my definitive favorite superhero of all time. Not just favorite sidekick, but actual superhero. He was taken away by the mysterious (but recently revealed) Mr. Oz. The reasons why Tim was taken and imprisoned have remained a huge mystery in DC Comics. The only real clue is that Tim was connecting threads that shouldn’t be connected.

What the hell does that mean? I have no idea. Lots of theories have been posted on many forums. As to which are legit and which are totally far reaching? Who knows? But we will be finding out the answer or at least some reasoning behind everything in the coming weeks.

Detective Comics #965, titled: A Lonely Place of Living, hits stands on 9/27/2017. This is playing on Tim’s first storyline back in 1990 during Batman #441 called A Lonely Place of Dying. So it is fitting. The storyline looks to contain more than just one Tim Drake in it as different versions of him have been plucked from the timestream. Still though, no one is really close to figuring out why as of yet.

I am super stoked about this, obviously. Tim has been in limbo for a year and it’s been tough reading about everyone else go through their Rebirth and have him set to the side. I am very hopeful that he will also lead a new team that could possibly bring back many other characters like the REAL Superboy, Wonder Girl and Impulse. Young Justice Season 3 is being animated, so it is a very strong possibility. Anyways, here’s some Tim Drake images below. Just because.

For no reason whatsoever, except that I love Robin. Here’s some sexy cosplayers that costumed as my favorite hero. Tim Drake is my favorite of the Robins, but the others are still pretty damn awesome (except Damian because he sucks). Pic above is from BlackGayComicGeek,
which I hope we can take some really cool pics coming up in a couple weeks.

Red Robin…Yum!!! I love Tim Drake. I hate even more that he’s been captured and placed in limbo by the mysterious Mr. Oz in the current DC Rebirth storyline. We get little cameo appearances here and there, but it is not the same. We got a glimpse of him in an upcoming Superman storyline title Superman Reborn. Someone escapes Mr. Oz’s prison. So many are speculating on the identity of the escapee. I know it’s a long shot, but I was hoping that it was Tim’s boyfriend Kon-El (the previous Superboy). It is more than likely another character but I can hope.

For no reason, here’s some cool pics of Tim Drake. Just because I really like him and I can’t wait to see him return back.

And because I’m a perv, I also like to see art with Robin going at it with others. Although a couple of these pics are actually Dick Grayson. Tim isn’t drawn to be as sexual as Dick. I mean Dick has splacked every female and probably male superheroes in the DC Universe.

Tim Drake is my boy. He is the best Robin (in my opinion) and my favorite comic book hero of all time. In his third mini series known as Robin III – Cry of the Huntress has him once again on his own taking down a mafia counterfeit ring while taking on one of Batman’s physically strongest villains – KGBeast. Luckily he has the help of the Huntress on his side, but that still does not make it much easier for him. Awesome series and paves the way for Robin to have his own ongoing series not long after this one ended.

Tim Drake is the bestest of the Robins in my opinion. The Joker’s Wild storyline is his first adventure in Gotham City while taking on the Joker without Batman. The story was originally published back in 1991 and helps establishes Tim’s supporting cast and also shows that he still has a far road ahead to being as strong of a superhero that he aspires to become.

Totally not expecting this issue to end in this way. Lots of speculation as to the overall storyline within the DC Universe that is being affected by the REBIRTH titles. Tim Drake is a major player and his role will be much different from this point forward. Major SPOILERS in this video.

This trade paperback is a collection of Tim Drake’s first mini series. The character of Robin has come a long way. The original sidekick is Dick Grayson. He paved the way for the superhero genre to have sidekicks. Unfortunately the campiness of the 1960s Batman TV show made Robin into nothing by a joke that was constantly perplexed and surprised at the littlest of happenings. In the comic books, Dick Grayson moved on to become Nightwing, and his predecessor was Jason Todd who was ultimately killed by the Joker. After Jason came Tim Drake who held the mantle of Robin for close to two decades before he moved on himself. This trade paperback is the telling of Tim on his first training and first solo adventure without Batman. It is a great read and essential for anyone to understand where Tim Drake began his training and how he earned the respect of many readers, including myself.

Robin Ryan

This is old news as he has been campaigning to Ben Affleck for the past week, but actor Ryan Potter wants to be Tim Drake aka Robin in the upcoming Batman movie. I support this in every way! He looks the part, he can has the martial arts background, and he is a Tim Drake fan…I love this guy!

In the DC Cinematic Universe, Dick Grayson is already suppose to be Nightwing. Jason Todd is more than likely the Robin that is shown to be dead as witnessed from the Robin uniform that is vandalized in the Bat Headquarters (or possibly he’s running around as another character). So Tim Drake would be the next natural progression as the next Robin.

Some haters don’t like the idea that Ryan is half Japanese. But he is also half American. So I say, just focus on his half American side if there’s an issue with that. I think his half Japanese side makes him look even more like Tim. Besides, not every character can be pandered to white heterosexual fanboys.

Tim Drake was never the best fighter out of the BatFamily but he sure as hell could still fight. He was trained by several masters and is a badass. Ryan released a quick choreographed fight sequence on YouTube recently to help show case his own talents. He is pretty darn awesome. Check out the video below.

Robin Animated FINAL (2).Movie_Snapshot

Robin! He is the first sidekick in comic book world. Although this depiction is not THE first sidekick, as that mantle goes to the Dick Grayson version of Robin, but still this is a Robin. This toy version of the Tim Drake Robin depicted on Batman the Animated series was cool for his short reign. The figure is very faithful to his animated counterpart.
