Robin Cosplay Appreciation Post (Again) – Because He’s That Fucking Awesome

Unless you are new to my site and social media, you should know that Robin is my favorite superhero of all time. I have cosplayed as Tim Drake, Dick Grayson and Jason Todd at different points in my life. Never Damian, because fuck Damian. However I have a special place in my heart for Robin for many reasons, so I continually post pictures both real and comic book related that pertain the Boy Wonder. Here’s a few pics of my boy in cosplay form from different cosplayers that I have encountered...

Robin, The Boy Wonder: A Celebration of 75 Years – Comic Book Review

Whoa, Robin (the character) has been around for over 75 years! The 2015 book ‘Robin, The Boy Wonder: A Celebration of 75 Years’ celebrates this by collecting several stories from many of the past characters to hold the mantle of Batman’s sometime sidekick. I did not go through every story presented in this book, but I do spotlight some of the important ones in this book review.
You can purchase this book in both digital and hard cover version on Comixology/Amazon.

Christopher Robin – Trailer – I Am So Onboard with This! What Do You Think?

I absolutely adore Winnie the Pooh and Ewan McGregor is a crush that I have had for as far back as I can remember first seeing him. It helps a lot that he was also younger Obi Wan, but I liked him before that. This movie looks to be a different take on the Winnie the Pooh story that is taking place after Christopher Robin has grown up. The movie Hook immediately pops into my head. I am so ok with this and want to watch it. What do you think?

Look, ROBIN! Stop what you’re doing and look at this. YES! Dick Grayson’s first look as the original Boy Wonder, Robin in the upcoming Titans Live Action TV show has been revealed. I like it!!! I know they will eventually evolve his look to be Nightwing, so I am loving that they are starting with his Robin look first. What do you think of it?

Robin #1 – 5 : DC Comics First Ongoing Solo Series Review – Volume 4 (SPOILERS)

Tim went solo in 1993 and had a successful ongoing comic series. Dick Grayson is the first and the most well known, but Tim got to hold several mini-series plus his regular series that was over 183 issues (not counting annuals plus extra oddly numbered issues). This video review is based on his first story arc in his regular series that spread from Detective Comics #668. Going out completely on his was a gutsy move for being as inexperienced as he was, but it was a great journey...

A Lonely Place of Living – CONCLUSION – Detective Comics #968 Review – (SPOILERS)

It is the conclusion to the Lonely Place of Living storyline that returns Tim Drake back to the DC Universe. Him and the rest of the BatFamily have to face off against his older counter part who is attempting to kill Batwoman. The older Tim Drake is the Batman of Tomorrow who has trained his whole life to defeat them all. So this is not so easy, even with all of the Batfamily together. Major spoilers in the attached video.
