Are you a horror fan and love The Ring (Ringu) and the Grudge (Ju-on: The Grudge)? If you are like me, then you probably saw the American versions of these incredible movies first and then found out that both movies were based on Japanese versions of the same stories. Then you probably went back and watched the original versions and compared. If you did all that, then chances are, you are a fan of horror. Rejoice fellow horror fans! According to Empire Online and a recently released teaser (see below), now we have a Japanese Vs. match taking place, a la Freddy vs. Jason. This will be The Grudge vs. The Ring. How will this happen? I have no fracking clue, but I cannot wait to see it! Of course we will have to wait for a subtitled version, but I can wait. Ghost vs. Ghost and the living people inbetween them? That will be interesting!
Sadako Vs. Kaya, battle to the death…again…I guess will be coming out June 2017 and will be directed by Kōji Shiraishi is the director, with Mizuki Yamamoto (Ghost Hunt) playing the star role as Yūri.
