Hercules 2 Vimeo (3).Movie_Snapshot

The second issue to the Hercules series from Marvel Comics is out. Hercules is somewhat investigating the appearance of many of his fellow mythological counterparts from Greek folklore. There is a bigger issue at stake but he is not receiving any help from his Greek half brothers and sisters.

Robin War 1 YOUTUBE.Movie_Snapshot

Finally, the first issue to the long awaited Robin War is out. Well not long awaited, but it is something that I have pondered and thought over for a couple weeks. The first issue sets the stage with all the Robins- Tim Drake, Jason Todd, and Damien Wayne meeting up with the vigilante group known as We are Robin. Dick Grayson will be joining them very soon.

Young Avengers Vol 2 FINAL Vimeo.Movie_Snapshot

This is the second part to the Young Avengers first series that debut from Marvel Comics back in 2005. This review encompasses issues #7-12 and includes two stories. This first story is called Secret Identities and revolves around Patriot and his abilities as a superhero. The second story is a background story that explains Hulkling’s unique origin. Incredibly original story and great artwork illustrating this team’s dynamics.

DKIII Issue 1 YOUTUBE FINAL.Movie_Snapshot

Here is the first part to the third installment of the Dark Knight Returns series that was written Frank Miller. The original series is potentially one of the best stories ever written for Batman. The second series, the Dark Knight Strikes Again was not so great. However this series has a lot of potential.

Mighty Thor 1 Comic Book Review Vimeo (2).Movie_Snapshot

The first issue to The Mighty Thor from Marvel Comics is out! Dr. Jane Foster is Thor and she is bringing a very unique quality to the character. This is a great first issue and I think the future issues will be leading up to some epic story telling.

Midnighter Vol 1 (2).Movie_Snapshot

Check out my thoughts on the first 6 issues of DC Comic’s most notable gay supehero who is carrying his own title in a mainstream comic book universe. Midnighter is a super powered cross between Batman and the Punisher that dishes out a badass brand of justice to his foes. Excellent first story arc and definitely worth reading.

Back to the Future 1 (3).Movie_Snapshot

Yes boys and girls, October 21, 2015 is officially Back to the Future day! It’s fitting that their comic book would come out on this day as well. I’m a huge Back to the Future fan. In fact, I’ve seen all of the movies multiple times as well as the cartoon series. It was fantastic back then and today I think it has survived the test of time. They may not have predicted 2015 very well, but the story itself is incredible. Here’s the first comic book of the IDW series. Enjoy!

Midnighter 5 (4).Movie_Snapshot

Previously, Midnighter teamed up with Agent 37, aka Dick Grayson, in his mission to retrieve many pieces of technology that was stolen from the God Garden.

In this issue we conclude the small arc with Agent 37 helping Midnighter. Interesting read with excellent art that is illustrated throughout the issue. The story is consistent in the overall storyarc with Midnighter unraveling the keys to who is behind stealing the artifacts and tech from the God Garden. His banter with Dick Grayson is incredible and they definitely need to have a team up with Batman at some point down the line. Check out my thoughts on the issue in the video below.
