The New 52 animated universe is not my particular favorite animated universe. But the Judas Contract is not quite as bad as I thought it would be. I was pleasantly entertained and enjoyed this movie. Maybe it was because Damian wasn’t the central figure this time around. Regardless, I do recommend watching this. It is not the best of the DC Animated movies, but it was by far not the worst either.

The Rebirth thing is weird. I am a HUGE Raven fanboy, so seeing her in this movie gives me a little squee of pleasure as well. She’s awesome.
Good review, Paulie. 🙂
New Teen Titans was my favorite comic growing up so I’m not too happy that it’s a New 52 version. I guess they were animating this before Rebirth happened. I do hope that a Rebirth happens in the animated universe too. I am glad that we FINALLY get Donna Troy in an animated feature, even if it’s a small role. The Slade/Terra relationship was creepy even back in the comics. I always liked the original Brother Blood so it’s interesting that he’s a big part in this. I will definitely give this a shot based on your review.
