It’s comic book day! I can never read all of the titles that I want, but I can get to a couple of them here and there. My picks for the week include Superman #39, Nightwing #37, Damage #1, The Mighty Thor #703, X-Men Gold #20, and SuperSons #12. Check out my thoughts in the attached video. It’s comic book day!
Walking Dead #174 returns with a sympathetic look at Negan. Yes, seriously.
Amazing Spider-Man and Venom, Inc: Alpha – The battle for the symbiotes. Not exactly, but somewhat still accurate. Anything with Eddie Brock Venom is worth it.
Astonishing X-Men #6 – The war between Xavier and the Shadow King continue and comes to a head.
Captain America #696 – Cap vs. the Swordsman. Classic Cap is back and he’s showing how awesome he original was meant to be.
Spider-Man #235 – A new Sinister Six is forming and starting to make their move. Miles Morales has never faced them, but he will soon.
Superman #36 – Imperius Lex concludes with a predictable ending. However, Lex makes a move that was a bit unexpected…although I guess it is also predictable if you think about it.
Nightwing #34 – Nightwing vs. Raptor. A definitive winner emerges in this battle.
Batman #36 – The SuperFriends reunite! Well it’s just Superman and Batman, but still seeing their partners (wife/fiancée) making them contact each other is awesome.

Have you heard of the upcoming Batman anime titled: Batman Ninja? This is a story on Batman and his Batfamily (Tim Drake aka Red Robin can be seen) being transported to Medieval Japan. Unfortunately some of the villains of Gotham are also transferred back with him. Oh course they all get involved in a local power struggle and all hell breaks loose. It looks damn awesome!

Batman: Ninja will be released sometime in 2018.

It’s the final part to the ColbyKnox Batman and Robin XXX parody. Batman and Robin face off against the henchman, Colby Chambers. But is there more to this series? Hopefully! Check out my thoughts on this scene in the attached video review.

It’s the second part of the ColbyKnox Batman and Robin Gay XXX Parody. No costumes in this part of the series, but we do have Alfred in the background serving lots of food. Mostly breakfast stuff, but still lots of it. Check out my thoughts of this scene in the attached video.

I love most iterations of Scooby-Doo. Back in the 70s the Scooby gang used to team up with fictional characters and sometimes real life celebrities. More than once, this even included Batman and Robin. Well guess what true believers, there is going to be another team up with Batman. This will be a part of the Batman: The Brave and the Bold series and unfortunately Robin will not be present. Still though, I want to see this!

This direct to DVD/Direct download comes out from Warner Bros. Home Entertainment on January 9, 2018.

Hollywood is reporting on the death of Adam West. Famous for the 1960’s Batman TV series, Adam has also done several Batman voice roles in several animated series and movies. He even played the voice of Mayor West of the city of Quahog in Family Guy. This is quite sad.
