I have watched A Knight’s Tale more times than I can count and out of all of my friends, I am the only one that likes it. It’s not the worse movie in the world, not by a long shot, but it didn’t get good reviews and the average viewer tolerates it, but does not consider it a great movie. I am exactly the opposite. I love it.
I love the modern music mixed with Renaissance music. I loved Heath Ledger, way before he was the Joker or in Brokeback Mountain. The story itself was just great too. But the end is what sells it as being incredible to me and I just love the view of Count Adhemar on the ground with William Thatcher and his friends looking down on him.
Do you have a movie that you like that people around you do not like? I know we all have that one movie that may not be a guilty pleasure, but it could still be a movie that you hold in much higher esteem than the average person.
