He-Man/Thundercats #5 – DC Comic Book Review (SPOILERS)

Mumm-Ra and Skeletor have enslaved the ancient spirits of evil and have them attacking Eternia. Without He-Man and Lion-O, who are traveling back from Third Earth, it is up to the combined forces of the Thundercats and the Masters of the Universe to stop them. This is a fun issue with lots of action and battles taking place. It is worth it just to see Jaga and the Sorceress working together. Unfortunately there’s only one more issue left, but potentially capable of continuing on.

The Teela/Cheetara team-up was probably my favorite of all of them (with Orko/Snarf coming in a close second). I forgot that Cheetara has seventh sense/phophetic abilities. It was a fun issue to show what was going on while He-Man & Lion-O were away. Can’t wait to see how it all ends next issue.
